The site is located in the Fountain Square neighborhood along the popular Cultural Trail on Virginia Avenue.

The parcel currently houses a one-story brick, concrete block and flat-roof industrial distribution building between 1972 and 1979 for White Castle Inc.

A redevelopment effort resulted in the demolition of the existing building and the design and construction of a 5-story mixed-use building. The new development named Link, will have 12,500 square feet of retail and restaurant space on the first floor along Virginia Avenue, 204 high-end apartments in the upper stories and 210 parking spaces in an internal garage. There will be some recessed balconies, a rooftop amenity area, and a courtyard along Virginia Avenue.  Landstory served on a team with Blackline Architects in the development of the site including landscape design, hardscape design, lighting, tree plantings and selection of various amenities.
