For this project, Landstory designed a 1.5 acre rain garden associated with a large, local drainage improvement project. The raingarden retains and absorbs 37,000 cubic feet of storm water runoff, on the property of the elementary school. Landstory involved the students in the design process and they helped identify planting preferences. Solar LED bollard lights enhance adjacent walks. Future project phases include provisions for outdoor classrooms and boardwalks.
